Primal Carnage:Genesis Put on Hold

Primal Carnage:Genesis is a story-driven single player game developed by Lukewarm Media. It is a prequel to their previous game, the multiplayer-focused Primal Carnage.Genesis takes place in a world where the dinosaurs have been brought back from extinction to a remote island.Player has to survive after the dinosaurs make the wild break and you will be able to explore the island which is mix of tropical environment and made man structures.Genesis will have many combat options and enemies as well as hiding places.Different types of dinosaurs and plethora of different reptiles such a Pterosaurs and there will be included Compsognathus and  Brachiosaurus – non-violent dinosaur, both of these two models were made earlier and not has been used in games so far.

Anyway, lets talk about release date,as the title say.Genesis has been announced in march 2013.Since then players have been patiently waiting. But now Lukewarm gave interview and explained via PS Blog  that the game was deffinitely put on hold until further notice.Actually it is not so much of explanation as it is statement.

Instead, PS4 owners will be treated to Primal Carnage: Extinction in 2015, which is, “class-based, online multiplayer shooter unlike any other on the PS4 platform, featuring fast-paced combat, diverse environments, and over-the-top action.”

Hopefully we’ll see Genesis come to light at some point, but for now, Extinction looks set to give you your dinosaur fix on consoles. The PC version of the game can be quite fun so it’ll be interesting to see how console owners receive the game.

So we will try to bring you new information as soon as they become available about release date of the game, or at least the moment the studio continue to work on the  development.
