ARMIKROG

“Armikrog arrives in August,” we—well, I—told you in June. And I did so in good faith and with the best of intentions! I have recently been informed, however, that this is not actually going to happen. Instead, the game will be out on September 8.Based on characters created by Doug TenNapel, the game follows the adventures of a space explorer named Tommynaut and his blind alien talking dog named Beak-Beak as they crash land on a weird planet and end up locked in a mysterious fortress called Armikrog.

Woolfe:The Red Hood Diaries Developer Announces Bankrupcy

Woolfe: The Red Hood Diaries developer GriN Multimedia—not to be confused with Bionic Commando developer GRIN AB, even though I find it all very confusing—has announced that it has ceased operations. “It’s done, there is no way back. It sounds dire, but as the video makes clear, the game isn’t quite as heavy-handed as it may seem. Continue reading TSIQOUE

SATELLITE REIGN

When Satellite Reign was announced back in the summer of 2013, I was excited but nervous. It’s (heavily) inspired by the groundbreaking Bullfrog RTS Syndicate, a game I absolutely loved, and the thought of its reputation being even further besmirched by a half-baked knockoff weighed heavily on my heart. But yesterday developer 5 Lives Studios released the launch trailer, and I’m feeling a little better. Continue reading SATELLITE REIGN
