Through exploration, puzzles and battles, the history behind the game’s world will be slowly uncovered.

trailer from 26.january 2015:

Aderyn’s Cradle will have five character classes (Druid, Ranger, Paladin, Swordsman and Arcanist), with six unique weapons associated with each. The combat is designed to be intuitive and fast-paced, with the name of “RealFight Combat.”

THE SYSTEM USES DETERMINISTIC ANIMATIONS, WHICH EXECUTE DIFFERENT ANIMATION SEQUENCES DEPENDING ON WHERE THE PLAYER AIMS ON AN OPPONENT, AND WHAT TYPE OF OPPONENT IS BEING FACED. THE AMOUNT OF DAMAGE DEALT IS DEPENDENT ON THE LOCATION OF A SUCCESSFUL STRIKE RATHER THAN RANDOMLY GENERATED VALUES. THE SYSTEM IS EASY TO PICK UP, BUT CHALLENGING TO MASTER.

Weapon augmentation will be a fundamental system to the game, and so will be an alchemy system where ingredients found throughout the world can be combined to form salves, with the “Medica” mechanic.

Aderyn’s Cradle is slated for a PC release in Fall 2017, with a planned 30-60 hour average completion time. The Indiegogo campaign currently has 40 days left, with a $40,000 USD goal. Last year, the Kickstarter campaign with a $300,000 UDS goal failed, having raised $129,946 USD.

Aderyn’s Cradle relies on CRY engine.Mojo Games’ business director issued a statement where he points to the expert faculty of Carnegie Mellon and a relationship with their big brother Crytek.

Aderyn’s Cradle (formerly just Cradle) received criticism from the public, who doubted Mojo’s ability to complete the project on budget, on time, with all the features intact. Commenters cited the team’s inexperience.Anyhow they didn’t give up and that’s a good thing.
