For Honor 360 degrees trailer

For Honor—Ubisoft’s incoming history-defying hack-and-slasher that features knights and vikings and samurai all on the same murder grounds—will be with us this time next week. Keen combatants have already wowed us with their melee mastery, and the game’s latest trailer drops us square in the middle of a blood-stained battlefield.

Featured above, it’s one of those fancy 360° videos that lets you view the mess of dead bodies, loose limbs, and injured soldiers from every angle, as the poetic narrator drives home the brutality of war and the destruction it wreaks. It’s pretty epic—galvanised by some slow-motion bludgeoning as featured towards the trailer’s end.

For Honor is an action fighting game set during a medieval period inspired fantasy setting.Players can play as a character from three different factions, namely The Legion, The Chosen, and The Warborn. The three factions represent knights, samurai, and Vikings, respectively. Each faction has four classes. The Vanguard class is described as “well-balanced” and has excellent offense and defense. The Assassin class is fast and efficient in dueling enemies, but the class deals much less damage to enemies. The Heavies are more resistant to damages and are suitable for holding capture points, though their attacks are slow. The last class, known as “Hybrids”, are a combination of the three types, and is capable of using uncommon skills.  While Ubisoft plans on adding more classes after each “season”, the classes as of now are the Kensei, Shugoki, Orochi and Nobushi for the Samurai, the Raiders, Warlords, Berserkers and Valkyries for the Vikings, and the Wardens, Conquerors, Peacekeepers and Lawbringers for the Knights.Image result for for honor
